JENNINGS, Iowa (Medical News Today) A family store is coming to a new location in Jensen, Iowa.
The Jensens Family Shop is a family owned business in the 1920s, according to the Jensenson Historical Society.
It was based in Jansen and operated from 1904 to 1925.
The family business was shuttered in 1977, and the store closed in 2008.
Jensins owner Jeff Jensen said the store has been a fixture at the family store since then.
He said his son has owned the business since the mid-1980s.
“It has always been here.
It’s always been a part of the family,” he said.
“It’s a family-owned business and it has always had a lot of family pride.”
Jensen said the family shop had a strong presence in Jengs Lake and surrounding communities for decades.
He remembered when he first started selling family items, it was called the “Jensens family shop.”
He said the shop still stands today and is open to the public.
He has also said he wants the family to be able to go back to their old place, which is still open to visitors.
He said he plans to reopen the family’s old location at the end of the year, and plans to renovate the store.
